A few weeks ago, our Cherkasy School of Photography together with our church worked together to create a cycling-photography trip. It took a lot of time in preparation, and there were lots of small details that we needed to figure out beforehand. This was one of the hardest projects to pull of but at the same time one of the most rewarding ones.
We faced so many difficulties on our way. First, was getting the team and all the equipment to remote locations because of the non-stop rain. Then, a couple of our key leaders were unable to come because of unpredictable circumstances. However, despite the obstacles, and election time in Ukraine among other things, we had 40 people total (attendants and volunteers)!
Some people came to compete, some wanted to overcome themselves and get to the finish line. After the race, we had wonderful fellowship time near the fire and camped out near a lake (even though the temperatures went below freezing in the night, there was even frost on the grass when we woke up).
We are planning to meet next week for some cycling fun and fellowship.
