Ministry Update

by | May 26, 2020 | Ukraine

Dear Friend of International Partnerships:

We trust that you are safe and well. As we all continue to navigate the new realities of COVID-19’s impact on our lives, we want to keep you apprised of new developments and opportunities related to IP’s ministries.

Like so many other countries, Ukraine is trying to balance public restrictions with allowable liberties. While IP’s churches and Bible studies are not gathering together in person, groups are still meeting online, actually with significantly greater numbers than prior to the pandemic. Please take a moment to view Co-Director, Nick Mikhaluk’s video report on IP’s current circumstances and response within Ukraine.

While we are thrilled for this response and for the increased opportunity to share the love and Good News of Jesus Christ, we also recognize that our donors are understandably distracted by challenges here at home. This trend is reflected in our first quarter contributions, as compared to funding received during the same quarter in previous years:

· We have seen a 40% reduction in income compared to last year (2019).
· Compared to the average of the last 3 years (2017-2019), we have experienced a 34% reduction in income.

Realizing that we all are facing unique challenges, we humbly request your financial assistance that will positively address our current shortfall and allow God’s ministry to continue with important outreach and development.

We are always grateful for your support, and it is especially meaningful now. With love and blessings from IP’s Board of Directors and our ministry teams throughout Ukraine.

Always in Him,

Thomas Bates
President,
International Partnerships
