Lviv, Tabernacle church. This Sunday in our church we had a joyful event. Three sisters made a covenant with our Lord Jesus Christ through baptism. After that we had nice time for fellowship and picnic.
LVIV OUTING IN THE MOUNTAINS
We are thankful to God for the opportunity to have a nice vacation in the Carpathian Mountains. We had much fellowship, discussed Bible in small groups, had some hiking, sung with guitar, played games.
LVIV TRIP TO THE MOUNTAINS
In the second part of April we had opened new tourist’s season. Nice weather, 13 people, 11.3 miles. People from our English&Bible study groups, from our church and others as a good team overcame difficulties and everyone reached finish. For some people it was first time in the Carpathian Mountains.
Church Outing
In the second day of the Ukrainian Easter celebration, part of our church have invited some relatives and friends for fellowship outside of the city. We played volleyball, cooked barbecue, sang Christian songs and just talked.
ENGLISH SCHOOL IN LVIV
Last week we have started English and Bible study course for next 3 months. First week was very intensive, we had classes every day with our friends from States. We had great English lessons and interesting Bible discussions. At Friday with our American team we had American party. We played games, and Dan shared interesting thoughts how Reformation, faith in Christ transformed and changed United States. Students had many questions, one our student tried to be an interpreter. It was joyful and useful time for all of us.
HIKING IN CARPATY
Great time with God’s creation! We’ve been here last year but it every time we come there is something new. During our trip we experienced different kinds of weather: clouds, fog, some rain.. Also we got to meet people on our way- with some of them we took pictures. We had good time in the mornings for Bible discussions, and on the way God gave possibilities to share about the reason for life with some people of in the group. We plan more hiking trips this fall!
GUEST SPEAKER FROM SINGAPORE
We had great time with Prof. Geri Lee from Singapore. We discussed the possibility of organizing a meeting for our English & Bible study groups and some other people. It will be a great opportunity to practice English by talking about economic issues.
