One of our top priorities in our church is having small groups. These groups meet in many homes all over our city. Right now we have 11 groups.
On February 23-24 IP will be partnering with City to City Ukraine again to train pastors and preachers. We have already collaborated in the past and it has been a huge success. Here are some reviews from people who participated:
I was very happy to have the opportunity to learn together with people from other churches and to learn from them . It was necessary for me to freshen up the principles of evangelical, biblical approach to sermons, and also grow in my understanding of how to practically use these principles. – Dima, pastor from Kiev.
For me, the seminar was a reload of all my systems and boxes. Thank you for “tuning” me to the right frequency! – Kostya, a founder of a new church in Kiev.
It was a joy for me to participate in this training! This was the best information that I have heard in 20 years of ministry. To see Christ in the whole Scriptures, preach the Gospel without going into moralism is one of the most relevant topics. One more advantage was the fact that we had time for practice. Very grateful! – Pasha, pastor from Zhytomyr.
The goal of our two day training is to help people grow in their skills of preaching, based on the Gospel. This training is meant for people, who already preach on a regular basis, not a senior pastor per say, but a person who preaches publicly from time to time.
We thank God for all the opportunities and blessings that he has given us this year. We also want to thank you for being a part of the change in the hearts and minds of people.
Today we met with some wonderful ladies who work in kindergarten number 30 whose manager is my neighbor. On Christmas Eve, we talked about Christian ideas in the tales of Andersen. We had a detailed review of the fairy tale “Wild Swans”. They analyzed what helped Eliza deal with the difficult situations in her life.
The top of the meeting was Andersen’s statement: “The life of every person is a fairy tale written by God.”
We want to thank our friends and supporters, and wish you all a Happy New Year! God Bless!
